Hanbury-Autogil has substantial on-site services including; precision engineering, the design and build of converting machines, cutting machines, sheeters, flat bed presses – diecutters, rotary presses – diecutters, special purpose manufacturing machines, integrated laser cutting, PPE machines, rotary ultra-sonic welding stations and production components, in addition Hanbury-Autogil are specialists in web handling, material conversion, unwinds and rewinds – servicing industries globally.

Hanbury-Autogil is an official trademark. We are the sole manufacturer and machine builder of the tried & trusted range of ‘Autogil’ Cutting & Converting machinery. We can design and customise any machine and are experts in building automatic special purpose machines for the converting and production environment. The ‘Autogil’ engineered systems span a wide cross-section of industry and have exposure to working with many different materials. These include Papers, Foils, Tape, PPE, Film, PTFE, PET (Plastics), Rubber, Foam, Polyester, PVC, Card, Fibres, Gaskets, Cork, Tubing, Metals and Siliconised Steel.

Production Engineering

The Hanbury-Autogil on-site Precision Engineering facility is equipped with an impressive range of CNC Machine Tools operating over 2 shifts. A dedicated inspection and quality control Department ensures the exacting standards of all customers are satisfied. The service is fully ISO9001:2015 accredited.

Sheeters

The Autogil range of Sheeters and cutting systems encompass a highly versatile and very precise shear cutting mechanism. This action enables a diverse cross-section of materials to be cut.

Flat-Bed Die Cutters

The robust range of presses provide a very precise die cutting action, allowing customers to kiss-cut consistently onto the thinnest of carrier webs. All systems can be configured to suit the exact needs of the application.

Rotary Die Cutters

The Hanbury-Autogil Rotary machines include Rotary Die Cutters, Rotary Cutters and Rotary Ultra-sonic welding machines. Fully modular design allows for additional station to be added at any time.

Laser Cutting Systems

Full laser systems encompassing both C02 & Fibre sources can be designed and manufactured by Hanbury-Autogil. Their X/Y gantries can operate at micron level position accuracy with very dynamic move speeds.

Special Purpose Machines

Utilising the in-house design capacity both in mechanical and electrical engineering bespoke machines can be designed and manufactured to solve complex production needs.

History

Hanbury-Autogil was established in 1963 by Michael Hanbury, operating from a small industrial unit in Torquay. Initially the company was mainly focused on manufacturing precision parts for the local electronics industry.
