Hanbury-Autogil unites with fellow UK companies…
Building High Specification Automated Machines to produce Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
In such demanding times and like many organisations Hanbury-Autogil has had to adapt rapidly to align with market demand for automated converting machines. With the requirement soaring globally for personal protective equipment (PPE) and with the high volume of rejected, inferior product from overseas, the UK Government have placed emphasis on UK companies to help deliver the PPE that the UK urgently requires.
The problem for many UK medical and plastic manufacturers is that the UK lacked the equipment in order to produce the PPE at any volume. Existing machinery on the market was slow and mechanically unreliable with only the ability to deliver basic PPE products.
To the rescue came Hanbury-Autogil, high quality UK engineering – with over 50 years machine building experience and experts in material handling and conversion – could we help solve the PPE manufacturing problems?
YES!
Hanbury-Autogil are now engaged in PPE Face Mask, PPE Face Visor and PPE Apron machine projects and have worked on PPE gown enquiries for UK companies delivering superior outputs, reducing material waste, enhancing operator safety, substantially improving mechanical reliability and supporting the UK engineering and manufacturing sector.
Based in the South West of England and with dedicated in-house research, test, design, precision engineering and machine building departments. Hanbury-Autogil are already a significant local employer, with CIRCA 45 members of staff covering, admin, accounts, design, sales, marketing, engineering and electrical and with a constant stream of apprentices recruited locally, Hanbury-Autogil considers the workforce to be the heart and soul of the business and one of the reasons why the Autogil machines are thought of so highly around the world.
