What does it mean? Part 1
Machine Building – What Does it Mean?
What is a Machine Builder?
A machine builder is an engineering business that will put together all the machine parts to complete a fully functioning machine. Machine parts can include, safety guards, light curtains, bearings, linear rails, linear actuators, racking, frames, vision systems, cutting heads, blades, die cutting stations, rotary die cutting stations, press modules, coating elements, static control systems, conveyors, stacking tables packaging modules
What Markets use Machine Automation?
Machine automation is used by nearly all sectors. Machine automation is being closely linked with the advance in artificial intelligence and is considered a fundamental within the emerging electric vehicle industry.
Some of the industries and sectors that use machine automation include:
Rail, Automotive, BEV, EV battery leaves, Anode and Cathode battery components, Commercial battery conversion, Healthcare, Medical, Transdermal Patches, Wound Dressings, Personal Protective Equipment Manufacturers, Apron Machines, Protective Masks, Respiratory Filters, Cable Markers, Tape Convertors and Tape Manufacturers, Agriculture, Tree Guards and Protectors, FMCG, Aerospace, Blade Polishing, Foam Convertors, Consumer Goods Manufacturing, Tobacco, Smoking and Nicotine Products, Laser Cutting, Laser Converting
What is a BEV – Battery Electric Vehicle
Machine automation for the batteries that go into a BEV or Electric Vehicle. These machines can manufacturer components, battery foils, anodes and cathode battery leaves, BEV battery fire barriers, fire cells, fire prevention components for BEV batteries.
Transdermal Patch Manufacturing Machines
This can be a machine that would produce a finished product, this finished product could be a medical dressing, wound dressing, treatment patch. You present a number of materials to the machine, introduce a cutting stage, bonding, sealing, introduction of treatments, conveying, waste removal, stacking and packing. Hanbury Autogil have many years of experience in designing and building turn-key transdermal patch machines.
Multi-axis Converting Machine
This is a machine with multiple axis used for unwinding and rewinding various materials. You may find these machines in the tape converting industry. Hanbury Autogil are experts in designing and building tape converting machines.
What is Machine Automation
Machine automation is any information technology that controls machinery. Many modern machines function with some form of computer control, and in many cases, they are also integrated with business systems that provide control inputs.
Machine automation systems consist of multiple subsystems and components to provide the required power distribution, safety, and real-time control. Each of these subsystems and components must work together, and many are often networked to each other via either hardwiring, or increasingly via digital communication links. Careful design, selection, integration, and testing will ensure the automation system performs as required, both initially and throughout the life cycle of the machine.
Machine automation is the application of machines to tasks once performed by human beings or, increasingly, to tasks that would otherwise be impossible or to increase output and accuracy of tasks currently being performed manually.
Automation is the use of technology to perform tasks with where human input is minimized.
Hanbury-Autogil are experts in Machine Automation.
What is a Servo Motor
A servomotor (or servo motor) is a rotary actuator or linear actuator that allows for precise control of angular or linear position, velocity, and acceleration
What is a Linear Actuator
A linear actuator is an actuator that creates motion in a straight line, in contrast to the circular motion of a conventional electric motor.
What is a Coating Station
Can be part of a fully automated machine, at this point the process would be to coat the material or product in preparation for the next automated stage.
